Happiness is...

Waking up late in the morning,
Thereby having 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep,
Awaking just in time for lunch,
Of lovely Katong's wanton mee.

Happiness is...

Slacking at home after lunch with a big belly,
Having no worries and no chores for the noon,
Pursuring the papers at a leisurely pace,
While watching dramas and cartoons.

Happiness is...

Hogging the com all by yourself,
Blogging with no one over your back,
Or flipping through the pages of a book,
With a handful of candies off the rack.

Happiness is...

Getting ready to go out the slacker's way,
Baggy jeans and an un-ironed top,
With scruffy shoes and face unshaved,
Gosh I wish these days would not stop.

Happiness is...

Meeting the pretty dame for dinner,
On a sumptuous Kenny Rogers meal,
And jostling through our favourite mall,
For window shopping without frills!

Happiness is...

A session of sharing that's sorely missed,
Over a stroll and interwoven hands,
Oblivious of the weekend crowds and the distractions,
Through uncharted paths that's how we went.

Happiness is...

Being ambushed by a group of long-lost friends,
As well came the introduction of Salsa dance,
Staring together in amazement and awe,
In full admiration of the intricate stance.

Happiness is...

Walking the princess right to her doorstep,
Giving her a big goodbye hug in the moonlight,
Promising her there will never be a last night together,
A kiss from her, that's how it'll end the night.

Happiness is...

A cool shower and fresh clean clothes,
With my bedtime comic sprawled over my matress,
Letting those weary eyes close by itself,
Arranging for another meeting,
Under the starry skies with my lovely countess.
