Mandurah, Rockingham, Bunbury

26th Nov 2007

Tried finding a map which will show where we went but I guess this pic would have to do. The purple line is approximately the route that we have taken, all the way from Perth to Albany, which is over 400km away.

So we packed our clothes and lotsa goodies onto the car that we gonna spend at least 5 days in, and left my house.

First stop was Rockingham, where we saw the first of the many beaches.

The cute flying formation.

Cute seagull prints on the sand - they drag their feet when they walk!

A closer look.

The culprit.

With the brothers in the pristine clear waters and a seaweed in my hand. =p

One of the many funs of the SLR.

Navigating is not an easy job....

Next stop: Rockingham, Cape Peron
Attacked by flies!!!! We shall show you some of the ways to fight off flies buzzing around your face.

Method Number 1: Use the T shirt off your back.

Method Number 2: Use the twigs and plants.

A rare pic of all the 5 of us.

Breath-taking view, no? It'll be SO MUCH better if there're no flies around!

Another method to stop flies from buzzing around your face - wrap your sweater around your face instead.

The solitary rock out in the sea, where bird can sun bath there.

Sun-bathing bird!

Lunch was at this quaint little shop in Mandurah.

Ignore the double chin please....

A very interesting license plate.

The car which took us over 2000km... and the long roads....

Some animals we saw along the road...

Handsome horses...

A very friendly horse which walked up to our car. He has a fly net too. It's got so many flies around it's mouth that it ate a few!

Sheep!!

Kangaroos.
We finally reached Mandurah Coastal Limestone Outcrops...
Roosting seagulls as per Shaun.

The formation in the sea that my younger brother says looks like a ghost.

Father and son shot again! This pair is really sweet and cute.

The seagull waiting at the side of the car, waiting to be fed.

Lastly Bunbury town!

Taffy's!!!

Yummy CHOCS!

What's better than enjoying chocolates with your loved ones, while looking at the sea and enjoying the breeze?

Well... I spoke too soon.... Wheeeee!

Bunbury Lighthouse.

Now I think we really look alike!

I'm a GIANT!

While waiting to go for dinner, we went to the Marlston Hill Lookout Tower and took lotsa pics!!
Lotsa spiral staircases!

Try spotting Shaun!

And us!

A very cutely shaped spiderweb.

See our car parked in the middle of the carpark of Big Swarm Reserve?

The swarm...

Sunset.

All cuddled up!
