Great Ocean Road

We (i.e. the Perthians and Sil) took the one day tour to the Great Ocean Road, where we could see the Twelve Apostles at sunset.

At the meeting point...

First, our tourguide/driver, Bernie (who really looks like Santa, especially so close after Christmas, or Hagrid) brought us to Bell's Beach.

I would never get tired of seeing these kinda scenes everyday....

A really sexy and pregnant mother!!

Mait Rest Rainforest

Another Tingle Tree!! I think they are the same species as the one we saw in the Valley of Giants, which Shaun has not blogged about. Hmmmm...

Can't really recall where this is, but Bernie dropped us off and we saw lotsa wild koalas!! They were really shy though, always showing us their butts, as you can see.

Port Campbell National Park

Seeing all these pictures remind me of those Secondary school Geography days where you learnt about coastal formations. This was, and still is, my favourite topic. How arcs and apostles are formed. And it was really exciting to be seeing them in real life!

I was thinking how good it is to go down onto the beach below as it looked so enclosed. But it looked as if there was no way to get down, but there was!!
The view below! Too bad we had our jeans on. The water sure look really inviting!

Amazing architectural design! It's for sale for a 7 figure sum! Houses along the Great Ocean Road are amazingly nice!

Port Campbell where we had our dinner.

The sun is beginning to set at around 7. Really love the late sunset in summer!

Posing seagulls!
We finally reached Twelve Apostles after our dinner and we could only spend about 45mins there. =(

The lovely sunset.

Then later on...

Overall the trip was really rushed. If there is another chance, it would be great to be able to drive yourself there, or join the 3day tour of the Great Ocean Road. And I was really amazed by the touring system here. One person acts as the driver as well as the tourguide, which I think is really amazing, taking into consideration that he has to drive such a long distance, give commentaries when driving, and take us onto the walks/hikes through forests and what nots. The worst job to have was the one driving us to Grampians!!
~
Next would be Phillip Island - Land of the little penguins!!
~
P.S. There isn't as much pics in these travel blog as I want to finish blogging before i go back to SG this sat!
~
P.S.S I wanna watch P.S. I love you!
