Woke up with severe gastric pain.

Popped an antacid and thought all would be fine and proceeded to go to work.

Pain did not subside. Decided to go back home.

Dropped by A&E for some medication. Fast fast service. Was out within 20mins.

Went home and here I am - popping pills and adopting the sick role.



One line in the discharge summary tickled me though! I think for people with 6pecs, this line will be very different!

I feel as if I'm playing truant.
