It was the day after the crazy snow. School was canceled! So we had a good night's sleep and woke up only in time for lunch.
This will be a pretty fast pictorial update but I hope you will enjoy the photos taken!
A picture taken of Moore-strong dormitory just opposite the i-house
Snow-covered vehicles
On the way to the Caf
Pictures of some other university dormitories
Men shoveling their porch and sidewalks
In the background: The University Dining Hall and the University Library (the taller building)
A Pole and a French... I'm knowing tons of people here!
Looks like we're not the only ones at Caf on this lovely day
Some folks decided to build a snowman outside the Caf
Yan Hao and the snowman
We must have spent a great deal of time at Caf. It was such a nice and relaxing day of just sitting back and just chatting with all the international students over a very long lunch.
Some scenes outside the Caf on the way out
The Asians (and a chinese-american)
Wei the Chinese chao mugger...
Shaun the Singaporean Monkey... Haha.
Ana the Indonesian erm...
Fang and Ann... Fang is going to be a nurse and Ann is the pianist whom you guys met in the previous post.
The icy road back to the dorm
Out of nowhere someone left this big boulder of ice in the middle of the road as a practical joke. A minute later a car just ran it over and smashed it. I would have just found a huge ROCK boulder, place it in the middle of the road and plaster snow all over it. Lets see a car run through this! *Evil laugh
We walked back to the dorms and Ana decided to take the more scenic and longer route back to the i-house. So the subsequent pictures were taken by her.
Scenes from the back road leading to the i-house
This detour would take one pass the forest and also towards the music building.
I like the way nature surrounds the path. I sure will be taking this route back more often too! There are also lots of wildlife to be seen around. But only if you keep your eyes and ears peeled!
The unnamed creek passing through the Music building and Cone building
Let it snow!!!
We spent the afternoon just tidying up the WIL2 project and then submitting it. It was not long before others came in and forced us to stop working.
"You Singaporeans work too much!!! Let's go out and play!!!"
You guessed it! Snowball fight 2!
Fighting by the sunset...
This got to be the best picture ever. Taken by Anastasia (the innocent and neutral 'war' photographer). Katie always happen to be standing in the middle of the battlefield or killing ground. I swear this picture was not staged. Poor girl!
That's it for now I guess!
I'm flummoxed by all the projects and assignments currently. So I'll try to blog whenever I can. I've haven't even got to the Spring Break posts yet! I am so behind...
