Happiness

Took 2 days leave on 11th and 12th for some much needed rest and had the best long weekend I've had. Thursday was spent karaoke-ing, watching Bolt and shopping; while Friday was spent roasting at Sentosa, shopping at HarbourFront/Vivocity (I keep saying HarbourTown!) and the day ended with wine-shopping!

Woke up early and it was a wee cloudy. Was rather reluctant to leave the warmth of my bed. Luckily Shaun persuaded me to just go there and if it really rains we'll have a mini picnic indoors. Fortunately, or not that fortunately, the sun decided to come out to play the WHOLE day!

Finally on the tram!! Most people dropped off at Palawan Beach and so we decided to go further to Tanjong Beach!

We had the enire beach to ourselves!! Well almost, there were at most 2 other couples and 2 guys training 2 dogs to swim...

We took our place near one of the umbrellas and set up our tanning base.

And the sun is just peeking out at around 10 plus...

Trigger-happy!

Decided to leave around 2 as it was getting a little too hot for us. Shaun was lamenting the fact that he did not get tanned at all. I was telling him to check out after the shower, and sure enough, both of us got sun-burnt!! My back was the worst hit and as for him, it was his thighs. And as there was a dodgy container shower with bugs (dead and alive) in Tanjong Beach, we decided to go to Palawan Beach for the shower. And I must say, the shower facilities had improved much!! I had one of the best public showers. =))

After showering, Shaun decided to morph into mushroom head. Actually it was just one of my attempts to change his hairstyle! He simply refuses to go to a salon with me!

On a totally different note, I finally sorted out my earrings!! Bought these 2 sorters at Daiso and decided to zhng it up, with the help of Shaun! I am hopeless with sewing...

Most of my earrings. I spy empty spaces!!!

Randoms! Brooches, bangles, buttons, nail buffers.... It is also a place to put all my pins!
