The past 2 weeks, I...

... don barney coloured scrubs again...

... melted in the heat....

... had a patient who died 3 hours after I see him (not through any fault of mine!)

... had bruises on my hips coz was giaping the box between my body and the staircase railing to slide them down to the first floor coz they were too heavy!

... presented to a multidisciplinary team and got shot left right centre by the consultant.. haha

... had the monumental move from Lorong Marzuki to Jalan Daud...

... had a field day unpacking my stuffs...

... had yummers fried fish stick thingy at Bedok pasar malam...

... went bathroom accesories shopping. Have not gotten my toilet roll holder!

... celebrated dad's birthday and had pork knuckles again! This time at a kopi-tiam with buskers. Nice and cheap!

... went ikea to get some ideas for decoration...

... moved some drawers at the new house and got matching bruises on both my thighs...

... did up part of my presentation for the journal club...

... prepare for rotation tmr...

Life's good when...

... one wears boots to work...

... having a pack of beehoon with MaLing for breakfast...

... work is not too hectic...

... having a cup of self-brewed red tea with milk...

... spending quality time with friends over yummy home-cooked food (pasta, sweet sweet vege/mushroom/chicken soup, chicken wings, brocolli with ham), washed down with a cup of self-made ice-blended milk tea with oreo and semi-frozen grapes...

... walking hand in hand amongst crowds of people...

... watching in amazement the talent of people drawing caricature on huge boards...

.. lusting over airbrush tattoos...

... popping over to the Korean minimart and sampling the snacks...

... searching for clocks but getting turned off by the price...

... having dinner in JustAcia with its free flow of softserve ice cream topped with mountains of chocolate powder...

... talking or rather learning about the politics/history of SG...

... ending the day with a rerun of terminator on AXN with younger bro and dad...

Life is truely good. Even though I'm getting fatter judging by the way I'm eating the whole day!

An evening well-spent

After ending his 3 weeks of reservist yesterday, we headed out to Vivocity for some much needed civilisation and shopping!!

Soup of the day: corn and bacon! Yummers!


Steamed mussels!!


Baked mussels with cheese. Now I know why my cholesterol levels are so sky-rocket high! They were having a promotion where if you buy 350g of mussels, they will give 200g more free! =))


Grilled chicken and aromatic rice for him.


Wild mushroom pasta for me!

Dessert was vanilla pudding with too little pieces of honeydew.


Had to make use of the bag deposit service at Tangs because we bought this.....

Spent a mini fortune at Daiso on photoframes and some storage stuffs in preparation for my move to my new house! Moving at the end of the month and I am not looking forward to it coz there's alot of things happening this month. Rotation change, journal clubs and what nots! Anyway back to enjoy the rest of the Sunday afternoon! =))
